Mecolpress History

1969: Mr. Molinari, Mr. Barbisoni and Mr. Caggioli establish the company to manufacture hot forging mechanical presses for brass components.

1973: Purchase of a new industrial area and inauguration of new headquarters in Flero with 2,000 indoor square meters.

1979: Design and construction of the first mechanical press.

1983: Expansion of company headquarters to 4,500 indoor square meters.

1993: Acquisition of the DELLAVIA brand.

1998: Expansion of company premises to 6,000 indoor square meters and acquisition of the Swiss OSTERWALDER brand.

2008: Design and construction of the first hydraulic press for the hot forging of flash-less brass components.

2010: Refurbishment and expansion of the office building, commissioning of the first hydraulic press for flash-less forging.

2013: Market launch of the first electric drive screw press.

 

To better protect the health of workers, the latest generation of fume painting and suction systems have been installed.

In 2018 we acquired the majority of ME Group s.r.l., manufacturer of electric scooters with an elegant and unmistakable design.

In recent years we have further expanded the industrial area by acquiring two adjacent sheds in 2015, which have been completely renovated and in 2019 we built a last new warehouse on a site that was already owned by us, thus reaching a total area of ​​30,000 square meters.

In 2019, the brand new eccentric mechanical press, HEAVY 400, is being previewed at the EMO exhibition in Hannover.
