The video shows the new hydraulic press ME-150/50-G for hot forging.
The machine has passed the most demanding tests and is running regularly on our customers’ premises.
The thrust of the main vertical cylinder is 150 ton.
The press has been equipped with the EG horizontal sub-press provided with four 50 ton punches (each), placed at 90° or at different angles; an additional lower punch can be included in order to perform vertical extrusions. The loading of the billets and the downloading of the forged parts is done automatically.
The production of flashless parts is easier and more reliable compared to conventional mechanical eccentric presses.
Low noise level and no foundation required.
In designing this hydraulic press we have developed solutions that could reduce power supply requirements. Three new models are now under construction.
